Senior Clinical Psychologist

Ruth is a dedicated and passionate Clinical Psychologist, committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care. She completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Southampton and has worked with Children Looked After, fostered, adopted, and on Special Guardianship Orders across Southampton and London for the last three years. Prior to this, she worked with children in different capacities across alternative provisions and CAMHS services.

Ruth combines the latest research and therapeutic techniques to guide her practice. She takes a PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, and Empathy) approach, listening closely to the stories of the individuals she works with and gaining a deep understanding of their unique experiences.

With significant experience supporting individuals with complex trauma and neurodevelopmental differences, Ruth’s approach is flexible and tailored to meet the specific needs of each person. She draws on a range of therapeutic models, including Compassion Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, to create a warm, safe, and inclusive space where clients feel understood and supported.
